The International Public Policy and Management (IPPAM) program is a premier program for early to mid-career professionals interested in working cross-culturally and cross-sectorally with colleagues from around the world in an immersive environment.

Total Units Required

A total of 32 units is required to complete the degree.  In building an area of concentration, students may choose elective courses offered by other degree programs in the Price School or other professional schools at USC.

IPPAM is a hybrid cohort model that enables students to customize the curriculum around a solid core. While it’s designed to be completed in two years, students may accelerate their progress to finish sooner.

Representing 135 countries, international students comprise a quarter of USC’s population and add to the diversity of perspectives and knowledge on campus. IPPAM has drawn students from 40 countries, providing current students with a global network of alumni.

GLOBAL EXECUTIVE CONTINUING EDUCATION (GECE)

PROJECT

Shenzhen Municipal Government, China

Since 2006, the USC Price School has provided executive education and civil service training programs for high-ranking public servants from Shenzhen on topics such as governance, public management, civic planning, and strategies to spur innovative entrepreneurship.

Executive Education for Indonesia SPIRIT Project

Indonesian civil servants participated in executive education workshops led by IPPAM on re-engineering government and strengthening talent management in the public sector.


Beijing Urban Development Institute (BUDI), China

Scholars and experts from the Beijing Urban Development Institute (BUDI), China attended an IPPAM program focused on Global Governance, International Finance and Economic Development in the 21st Century.

Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV), Brazil

IPPAM has hosted faculty and executive students from the Executive MBA Program in Real Estate at Fundação Getulio Vargas for intensive workshops on forces driving change in the real estate industry and implications for Brazil.
